Great American Cleanup (GAC)

On Earth Day (4/22/2023)�� The Cub Scouts Pack 141 completed their annual Alpine Creek Cleanup. 26 volunteers (10 parents) helped clean up 349.95 lbs. of trash and 139.98 lbs. of recyclables.

They cleaned up 1.03 creek miles! Thank you for all your hard work.

Thank you to The Tierra Grande Chapter Texas Master Naturalists for coming out and helping cleanup the East entrance!!! Total trash collected 279.96 lbs. 1.07 miles were cleaned and total of 12 volunteer hours.

Keep Alpine Beautiful partnered up with SRSU Women's Soccer Team for the Feb. 2023 Community Clean-up. We cleaned up the West entrance of town.
We had 22 volunteers that collected ~700 lbs. of trash and ~1000 lbs. of bulk waste items. 0.39 TXDOT hwy miles, 0.46 City streets and 6.62 acres were cleaned. TXDOT supplied the safety vests, large trash bags, and safety road signs for the event. McDonald's donated the volunteer coupons.
