REQUEST FOR COURT CASE RECORDS

COURT CASE RECORDS REQUEST
This form allows for the request of individual court case records under the common law right inspection. Some information is not subject to release and may be denied in whole or with redactions. If fees or exceptions apply, the Court Clerk will contact the requestor via email. A request to inspect a judicial record must be in writing, include sufficient information to identify the record, and must be directed to the custodian of the record. The custodian of Court records is the Municipal Judge, not the Court Clerk. If this form is not conducive to the record(s) you are requesting, please submit your request in writing, directed to the Municipal Judge by email to city.judge@cityofalpine.com with the Court Clerk court.clerk@cityofalpine.com cc'd.

EXCEPTIONS TO USE OF THIS FORM
This is only for requests of individual case records. Requests for bulk court records or bulk data records must be made in writing to the court and sent to Alpine Municipal Court, Attn: Honorable Judge, 100 N. 13th St, Alpine, Texas 79830.

If this form is not conducive to the record(s) you are requesting, a request for judicial records must be in writing, include sufficient information to identify the record, and must be directed to the custodian of the record. The custodian of court records is the Municipal Judge, not the Court Clerk.  You may direct your request to the Municipal Judge by email to city.judge@cityofalpine.com with the Court Clerk court.clerk@cityofalpine.com cc'd. 

If a requesting party wishes to obtain more court record information, the requestor may examine accessible information for every case record at the municipal court during normal business hours. The court may charge fees for marshaling and for supplying other accommodations.


ACCESS TO COURT RECORDS
Access to court case records and other information collected, assembled, or maintained by or for the Alpine Municipal Court is by common law, statutory law, and court rules. Court case records and judicial records are not subject to the Public Information Act (PIA). The Alpine Municipal Court will endeavor to provide responses and records in a timely manner.
